Proximity Sensors feature Reed Switches assembled in housings to protect the switch and provide easy mounting.  By selecting a Proximity Sensor, the customer is able to bypass switch preparation, wire cutting, stripping, soldering and potting.   Proximity Sensors report the relative position of moving objects that must be continuously monitored.  Changing Actuator positions cause sensor contacts to open or close, allowing signal currents to flow.  Proximity Sensors respond to the Actuator’s magnetism.
